Even before the whole adult coloring book bandwagon came rolling into town, I already loved coloring. I would buy coloring books in bookstores and just color the afternoon away, mostly during Holy Week and Christmas Break. My dad would tease me saying that I never outgrew crayons and I would say its ART! its THERAPY! but he would just tease me more. But now that there are adult coloring books then yay for me! Woohoo! I can now tell my dad that its not a kid's thing, its an ADULT thing now (nyahahahaha!).
When I came home last June for a short vacation, it was really hard to find these coloring books. Major bookstores are out of stock so when I found two titles in Shanghai I was ecstatic!
My friend, Yna, also got me one in Manila and gave it to me during her visit here last week:
When we went back to HCM, I was even happier to find that publishers released local versions of some adult coloring books here, and cheaper too! The titles are in Vietnamese though, but its okay, I'm more excited into coloring the pages :)
The art supplies here in HCM are cheaper as compared to Manila, so I went out and bought some colored pencils and crayons.
